Some 2006 Grant recipients:
- Healthy, Happy, Holy Day Celebration in New Mexico. A celebration of the long term relationship between the students of Yogi Bhajan and the New Mexico larger community and public officials. Donations from community members fund the balance of the costs for this event.
- Yogic Women’s and Youth Camps. Grants help support camps devoted to yoga, meditation, and personal development for women and youth.
- International Association of Black Yoga Teachers Inc. (IABYT) Provides videos and DVD’s of Kundalini Yoga classes to US Federal Prison facilities. Some studies have shown that the recidivism rate of prisoners who have practiced mindfulness techniques is significantly lower than for those who do not practice such techniques. The goal is to help as many inmates as possible to have access to the life altering teachings of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.
- 3HO Foundation. Technology investments to upgrade website development, so that the teachings of Yogi Bhajan can be accessed by interested parties around the globe.
- 3HO Foundation United Nations NGO. Increased presence, support, and participation in United Nations-related Commissions, Conferences, and activities.
- Guru Ram Das Center for Medicine and Humanology to teach and certify Kundalini Yoga teachers by developing an instructor training program and training yoga teachers to teach the Diabetes Health Promotion Program to their clients and students. The Diabetes Health Promotion Program is an eight-class skill-building course meeting two of the seven self-care behaviors for people living with diabetes that have been set by the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
- Kundalini Research Institute Level 2 Curriculum Development with 5 modules being created for the Level 2
